Day 21 – Belt Reviewer

I made it to the belt reviewer today! The objective is to make a fully featured book review site. Users can register, log in, view book reviews, view book pages, visit user profiles, and create new reviews. Supposedly, the belt exam for the python stack is easier than the belt reviewer, so if I can finish the belt reviewer satisfactorily, Continue reading

Day 10 – Last Day of Web Fundamentals

It was pretty laid back today. A few students in our cohort were off taking the yellow belt again all morning, so the Web Fun room felt pretty empty. For the rest of us, it was just a catch-up/general exploration day. My group blazed through our daily algorithms, so instructor Mike had to come up with an extra one to keep us occupied. Day 8+9 – jQuery + APIs + AJAX

The only difference was that this one was timed. The website I had to recreate was just marginally more complex than the ones I’d been recreating previously. Continue reading

Day 4 – Finishing up CSS

Today was the last day of CSS assignments. I got in a bit late this morning because I lost track of time while working on my blog, oops! Luckily I got there just in time for morning algorithms. I realized after a couple days into the bootcamp that all those “pre-bootcamp algorithms” I wrote up over three days were actually Continue reading
