Day 18 – Intro to Django!

So I started Django today. My first impression is that it’s definitely better suited for larger projects than Flask is. Pretty much everything gets done in one file in Flask, which can get real messy real fast. Django, on the other hand, is designed with the MVC paradigm in mind, so everything is separated out into a nice, structured hierarchy of files. Continue reading

Day 15, Weekend, 16 – Smashing The Wall

Okay so I’ve been neglecting my daily blog posts for the past couple days but I promise there’s a good reason for that. After getting my goal of smashing The Wall by the end of Tuesday (day 17), I went full speed ahead. Day 14 – Finishing up Flask Fundamentals

Today I got a concrete goal to work towards! I got permission from Instructor Fiaz to follow the original Python track and take the belt exam on the Friday of week three! That means, assuming I pass, I’ll be able to take part in project week! I’m gonna power on full speed ahead from now on in order to reach that goal. Continue reading
